Hípica Boumort and Ateneu del Pallars win Youth Awards in Jussà

The Pallars Jussà County Council held its youth awards ceremony this Friday, honoring Roc Altimiras and the Ateneu del Pallars for their outstanding contributions to the region.

The Young Entrepreneur Award was granted to Roc Altimiras for his business Hípica Boumort, located in Pessonada. The project, which received a 1,500-euro prize, focuses on sustainable tourism through horse riding. Other winners included Maria Admella from Encamada Sunset School and Leonardo Melgarejo from La Manigua Estudio.
In the community category, the Fira d'Entitats Trempolines won the first-ever Youth Initiative Award. Organized by Ateneu del Pallars, the event was recognized alongside projects from Casa del Sol Naixent and the T25620 association, highlighting the vibrant youth movement in the Pallars Jussà area.
