Firefighters have been working since early afternoon on a forest fire declared near the Erinyà tunnel, between Conca de Dalt and Senterada, which has required the deployment of ground and air resources.

A forest fire broke out this afternoon in an area near the Erinyà tunnel, located on the border of the municipalities of Conca de Dalt and Senterada. The fire, which started near the N-260 road, quickly mobilized ground and air resources.
The fire alert was received at 4:31 PM this Monday. The focus is around kilometer 315 of the aforementioned road, in a forest area. Currently, four teams of firefighters, including an air unit, are working on the ground to control the flames.
Initial indications suggest that a lightning strike may have caused the fire, although this hypothesis still needs to be confirmed.
As a consequence of the incident, several nearby municipalities, such as Talarn or Salàs de Pallars, have experienced power outages during the afternoon. The exact causes of the failure and its direct relationship with the fire are still unknown.
Extinguishing teams continue to work intensely to stabilize the fire and prevent it from spreading into the adjacent forest.
