The Mayor of Isona i Conca Dellà, Jeannine Abella, has announced formal objections to the Sectoral Territorial Plan for the Implementation of Renewable Energies in Catalonia (PLATER) due to excessive land allocation.

The local government argues that the requirement to dedicate 1.9% of its land to solar energy—totaling 262 hectares—is disproportionate compared to the Catalan average of 1.1%. Abella criticized the Government of Catalonia for a lack of transparency during the negotiation process with local authorities.

"The figures assigned to our municipality are disproportionate and represent a comparative grievance."

The municipality, located in the Pallars Jussà region, demands a 0% quota for large-scale projects, advocating instead for small-scale self-consumption. They highlight the area's status as a Geopark and its existing burden from the Very High Voltage (MAT) line project in Figuerola d'Orcau.
