The community project Entaulades, més que un àpat, developed in La Pobla de Segur, has been selected to receive funding from the Department of Health to combat unwanted loneliness.

The initiative, which is part of the community health actions of primary care teams, aims primarily to reduce social isolation among people living alone. The project emerged from the local Grup Motor Comunitari, which identified the need to intervene regarding the difficulties of establishing social bonds in certain groups.
The program is aimed at people between 40 and 95 years old. According to the organizers, there is a direct link between loneliness and the risk of malnutrition, which is why the activity combines improved nutrition with socialization. Menus are designed by nutrition professionals from the Equip d'Atenció Primària in collaboration with local restaurateurs.
Currently, the activity takes place two days a week at the La Riba restaurant. Participation is coordinated through the CAP, municipal social services, and the Centre Cívic. This action is integrated into the Social Prescription program, which allows health professionals to recommend activities that promote the emotional well-being of patients.
