The Generalitat has managed nearly 5,000 applications through its virtual office and mobile vans in the first four months of operation, enhancing public service accessibility.

Since last October, the Government's virtual office has processed 3,500 requests via video calls. In parallel, mobile units, which have been traveling the region since April, have handled an additional 1,200 requests, reaching approximately 200 small municipalities.
The most frequent inquiries have focused on the registration of registered partnerships, with 2,003 requests, and on issues related to disability and dependency, which accounted for about a thousand inquiries in various forms.
These new channels are part of a Generalitat initiative to bring the Administration closer to citizens, especially those with mobility challenges. The Minister of the Presidency, Albert Dalmau, highlighted the goal of simplifying the relationship between citizens and the administration, removing barriers such as mandatory prior appointments.
The action plan includes opening new offices in towns like La Seu, Tremp, or Puigcerdà, promoting video calls, and providing door-to-door service with five adapted vans.
The virtual office, capable of processing up to 160 different procedures, offers 180 appointments weekly. Specialized civil servants manage these requests, which include, in addition to registered partnerships, recognition and review of disability status (579), dependency matters (375), and thermal social bonuses (145).
The mobile vans have prioritized the management of digital certificates (348) and dependency cases (134). The Government is currently evaluating the expansion of the service, given the high user satisfaction, with ratings of 4.93 out of 5.
