The 'Kanpai' operation, designed to combat repeat offending, concluded with 122 people identified and 45 vehicles checked across several municipalities in Pallars Jussà and Pallars Sobirà. Additionally, seven administrative fines and two traffic citations were issued. A electric scooter was also seized, and three administrative acts were raised against local establishments.
The operation, conducted last weekend, involved a joint effort by the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police), the National Police, the Civil Guard, and the Local Police of Tremp. Its primary objective was to tackle repeat offending and prevent crimes related to weapons and drugs.
The police actions focused on the towns of Tremp, la Pobla de Segur, and Sort. The deployment took place between 7:00 PM on Saturday and 4:00 AM on Sunday, covering a broad time frame to maximize control effectiveness.
