The capital of Pallars Sobirà, Sort, is constructing a new pump track expected to be operational this summer, expanding sports and leisure options for residents and visitors.

This new facility will be located in the town's sports area, next to the skate park and the municipal swimming pools, behind the sports center. With this addition, the space is consolidated as a central hub for sports and leisure activities, complementing other existing facilities such as the Canal Escola de Piragüisme or the football field.
The pump track will offer new possibilities for cycling, skateboarding, and scootering, acting as an ideal complement to the skate park. This action completes the area's adaptation and fulfills one of the government team's commitments for this term.
Beyond its purely sporting aspect, this type of infrastructure has a significant social and recreational component. It is expected to become a meeting point for young people and families, revitalizing community life, especially during the warmer months.
Furthermore, the new pump track will help reinforce Sort's appeal as a destination linked to sport and nature, expanding leisure options for both residents and visitors. Construction is progressing with the expectation that the circuit will be fully completed by the arrival of summer.
