The Tremp Health Center gathered fifty residents on March 17 for an informative session dedicated to sleep hygiene and chrononutrition in the Pallars Jussà region.

The event, organized by the community health team, addressed the high prevalence of sleep disorders detected among the local population. Marking World Sleep Day, various specialists provided a comprehensive approach to tackling insomnia and enhancing overall well-being.
Nutritionist Anna Grau introduced the concept of chrononutrition, explaining how meal timing affects biological rhythms. Meanwhile, emotional well-being lead Montse Caselles shared practical sleep hygiene strategies, and physiotherapist Maria Clèries discussed the nervous system's role in rest quality.
The session concluded with Dr. Riart, who explained the role of medication within a global health strategy. The initiative was highly successful, with twenty participants signing up for specialized sleep improvement groups managed by the CAP de Tremp.
