Vehicle traffic on the L-503 road, as it passes through the municipality of Torre de Capdella, has been normalized after a rock and earth landslide affected the roadway this Tuesday afternoon.

The incident, which occurred at kilometer point 11, near the village of Molinos, caused no personal injuries or material damage, according to the Servei Català de Trànsit (Catalan Traffic Service).
The landslide alert was registered in the early afternoon. Initial assessments suggest that the most probable cause was soil saturation due to continuous rainfall in the area over recent days.
Due to the presence of rocks on the asphalt, the Servei Territorial de Carreteres (Territorial Road Service) had to restrict passage, establishing an alternative route for vehicles between 2:22 PM and 6:40 PM. Once the debris was cleared, the road was fully reopened to traffic late in the afternoon.
With the affected section properly signposted, technical services plan to conduct a more in-depth evaluation of the slope in the coming days. The objective is to determine the stability of the hillside and decide if additional consolidation actions are needed to prevent future landslides at this location.
