This initiative includes six of the eight tourist transport services managed by the company, allowing travelers to access discounts of up to 20% from their first journey. Among the highlighted options is the Tren dels Llacs (Lakes Train), which has begun its season with a total of 29 scheduled trips until October.
“"We want those who use our services the most to receive benefits for doing so. The idea is to make all our services known."
Carles Ruiz, president of FGC, emphasized that the passport's main objective is to provide advantages to regular users of the railway tourist experiences. Meanwhile, David Ros, deputy director of Railway Tourist Services, noted that the Tren dels Llacs already attracts around 6,000 users annually.
The Turistren Passport operates simply: upon purchasing a ticket for any of the six tourist transport services, the user will receive a link to register and obtain the digital document. This passport will be stamped with each journey, accumulating discounts. Furthermore, those who complete the route on all six tourist trains before December 31, 2027, will receive a commemorative gift and be entered into a prize draw.
The Tren dels Llacs, one of the most emblematic services, begins its journey in Lleida and traverses the regions of Segrià, Noguera, and the mountainous area of Montsec to La Pobla de Segur. During the two-hour, 89-kilometer journey, passengers enjoy spectacular landscapes, crossing 4 lakes, 40 tunnels, and 75 bridges, with views of the Segre River and Noguera Pallaresa.
For the 2026 season, the Tren dels Llacs has 29 scheduled circulations. The Historic Train will make 23 trips every Saturday until June 27, and then again from August 22 to October 31. The Panoramic Train will make 6 trips between July 4 and August 8. On board, a tourist guide provides information about the route, the landscape, and the history of the tourist train.
Once in Pallars Jussà, users can explore La Pobla de Segur with options such as the Pyrenean Fauna and Nature interpretation center, the Espai Raier, the Molí de l'Oli, the Casa Mauri, or the Fàbrica de Licors Portet. Visiting Salàs, known for its museum shops, is also recommended, as is Tremp, home to the Epicentre and the Geoparc Orígens Visitors Center, which showcases the region's attractions. Other points of interest include the Hydroelectric Museum and the Capdella power station, or the Salt Museum in Gerri de la Sal.
