The mayor of Sant Esteve de la Sarga, Jordi Navarra, has reported vandalism on the LV-9124 road, where a sign prohibiting bus traffic was removed, while the road remains closed due to landslides.

The mayor of Sant Esteve de la Sarga, Jordi Navarra, announced yesterday the "deliberate removal" of a traffic sign on the LV-9124 road. This route is crucial, providing access to both the village and the popular Montrebei gorge. The sign, recently installed, indicated a prohibition on bus circulation.

"We installed it last Thursday, and although we have no proof, someone has torn it down."

Navarra emphasized that despite the maximum influx of tourists to Montrebei during Holy Week, the road has remained closed since landslides occurred last February. The mayor warned of the risks associated with using this road in its current state. Concurrently, the Àger Town Council also reported acts of vandalism at the Pertusa car park.
