The Tremp Institute will launch next academic year a Specific Training Pathway (IFE) for Sales and Customer Service Assistant, aimed at students with special educational needs for their professional and social integration.

This new educational offering, the first of its kind in Pallars Jussà, is aimed at young people with mild or moderate intellectual disabilities, including students with autism spectrum disorder. The objective is to meet the training needs of students from the Pallars Sobirà and Alta Ribagorça regions, among others.
The presentation of this training at the Tremp Institute was attended by several institutional representatives. Among them, the territorial delegate of the Government in Alt Pirineu i Aran, the general director of Vocational Training Planning and Integration, and the director of the Territorial Services of Education and Vocational Training in Alt Pirineu i Aran.

"With the IFE, people with special educational needs will be able to train and will have the opportunity to integrate into the workforce and society."

The Specific Training Pathways aim to increase students' personal autonomy and facilitate their transition to adult life, as well as social and professional inclusion. These programs last four academic years and are designed for young people between 16 and 20 years old, with or without a secondary education diploma. Groups are small, with a maximum of 12 students, to ensure personalized attention.
The IFE for Sales and Customer Service Assistant prepares students in professional and personal competencies for the commercial sector. It includes tasks such as customer service, product replenishment, warehouse support, and basic sales operations. Communication skills, autonomy, teamwork, and community participation are also developed, which are key elements for employment and active participation in society. The last year includes training in workplaces for comprehensive preparation.
