The Pallars Sobirà Regional Council recently presented the new agricultural job board in Sort, a key digital tool designed to connect primary sector companies with individuals interested in working in the rural world.

The initiative is framed within the BEEP project and was presented during the Forest Bioeconomy Days to promote Pastoralism and Livestock Farming. This platform initially covers the Pyrenean area, with the aim of expanding to a supraregional level.
The job board allows interested parties to register and publish their professional offers in areas such as livestock, agriculture, or product processing. The website, available at ramaderia.fempirineu.cat, includes a detailed form to collect work experience, availability, and job preferences.
The profiles that can be offered or requested are very diverse, ranging from shepherds, cheesemakers, or veterinarians, to specialized labor in cattle, sheep, goat, or poultry farms. The main objective is to improve the quality of life of extensive livestock farming and, crucially, to favor generational relief in the countryside.

"The goal is for these two tools to end up merging and not competing."

The BEEP project, which promoted this board, aims for an economic model based on the sustainable use of biological resources. The total investment was 200,000 euros, financed by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge through Next Generation funds.
