Port Ainé and Espot Host Major Freestyle and Alpine Skiing Events

The 10th Betula Freestyle Festival draws over 100 riders to Port Ainé while Espot hosts the Spanish Cup.

The ski resorts of Port Ainé and Espot in the Pallars Sobirà region became the epicenter of winter sports this weekend, hosting the Betula Freestyle Festival and the Spanish Cup.

The Betula Freestyle Festival marked its 10th anniversary with over 100 freeski and snowboard riders. The event featured the Catalan Championships and a special celebration at Hotel Port Ainé 2000, including the screening of the documentary Freestyle Art 2.0.
Simultaneously, Espot Esquí hosted the third phase of the Spanish Alpine Skiing Cup for U14 and U16 categories. Local athlete Brisa Santilari from the AEP club delivered a strong performance in the slalom and giant slalom races held throughout the weekend.
