The adventure sports season has officially begun in Pallars Sobirà this weekend, with the first groups of tourists navigating the Noguera Pallaresa river from Llavorsí.

Despite windy conditions and light snow, a group of ten people inaugurated the season on Sunday. With water temperatures hovering between 7 and 8 degrees Celsius, participants were provided with extra thermal jackets to complement their standard wetsuits.
The start of the season coincides with an agreement with Endesa to guarantee adequate water flow in the river until October 15th. Local businesses expect a strong year due to the high water levels currently recorded in the basin.

"There will be plenty of water and it will be a great season to enjoy this activity."
