The Alt Pirineu Natural Park and the Sort City Council completed several maintenance tasks on the Vernedes circular route this March to improve visitor safety and experience.

The project focused on the conservation of this popular trail in Pallars Sobirà. The Park Maintenance Service provided 15 days of labor, while the Sort local government supplied the concrete required for the repairs.
Work included clearing the path and pruning branches that obstructed maintenance vehicle access. Old railings were removed in safe areas, while supports and crossbars were repaired in sections where there was a risk to hikers.
Damaged signs and banners were also replaced. Park officials expressed their gratitude for the cooperation and respect shown by visitors, which is essential for the preservation of the area's natural values.
