Sort Public Library joins Biblioteques amb DO to blend culture and wine

The Sort Public Library has joined the Biblioteques amb DO cycle, a cultural initiative across Catalonia that pairs public libraries with the local wine heritage of DO Costers del Segre.

Organized by the Department of Culture, this project highlights how libraries adapt to their specific environments. This year's theme focuses on wine and gastronomy, involving over 70 libraries in its 14th edition, including nearby Tremp.
Events in Sort begin on Thursday, February 19, with a children's workshop. On Saturday, February 21, storyteller Carles Alcoy will present a session for adults titled Les llegendes dels sants bevedors, exploring the spiritual and historical myths of wine culture.
