The Catalan Firefighters rescued three hikers last Friday who had become trapped in a difficult-to-access area within the municipality of Lladorre, located in the Pallars Sobirà region.

The emergency operation began around 2:00 PM after reports that the group could neither advance nor retreat. The hikers had set off from the Tavascan station towards Serra Plana peak but were caught off guard by the terrain above the Piuladora ravine.
Emergency services confirmed the hikers were in a natural dead-end. Due to the terrain's complexity, a rescue helicopter was deployed featuring GRAE specialists and a SEM medical professional.
Once located from the air, the three individuals were found to be in good health. They were airlifted one by one to the Pleta del Prat parking area, where their vehicle was located, successfully concluding the mission.
