The Generalitat Firefighters rescued three hikers this Friday, March 13, who had become stranded in a difficult-to-access area in Lladorre, located in the Pallars Sobirà region.

The emergency operation began around 2:00 PM after reports that the group was stuck above the Piuladora ravine. While the hikers were uninjured, they were unable to move forward or backward due to the steep terrain.
A specialized GRAE mountain rescue helicopter, including a medical professional from the SEM, was deployed to the scene to locate and evacuate the individuals.
Once spotted from the air, the rescue team extracted the hikers one by one. The operation concluded successfully with their transfer to the Pleta del Prat parking area.
