During his speech, Laporta emphasized that the Lleida region remains a stronghold for the club, thanking local members for providing the institutional stability needed to manage the club's recovery.

Regarding the upcoming elections, the candidate stated that keeping the club in the hands of its members is a non-negotiable red line. He also denounced what he described as external attempts from Madrid to smear the campaign through false legal complaints filed at the Audiencia Nacional.
