The Mollerussa City Council has launched a comprehensive reform of its municipal ordinances, including a 50% increase in blue zone parking fees and new rules for sustainable mobility.

Mayor Marc Solsona announced that the hourly parking rate will rise from 45 to 70 cents. This update follows more than a decade of frozen prices, with the original regulation dating back to 1998.

"The current ordinance dates from 1998 and prices have not been updated for more than ten years."

New regulations will also cover electric scooters and the installation of EV charging stations on public roads. Additionally, the council plans to start construction on the Ignasi Peraire school fence this summer with a 120,000 euro budget.
