CFJ Mollerussa fell to a 0-1 defeat against San Cristóbal yesterday in a direct clash for survival, leaving the local team in a precarious position in the league standings.

The match was decided in the 68th minute by a stroke of bad luck when a corner kick deflection hit Pol Canillo and ended up in his own net. Earlier, Mollerussa goalkeeper Pepo Campanera had kept his side in the game by saving a penalty just before halftime.
Despite creating several clear chances through Jofre Graells and Pol Canillo, the home side lacked the clinical edge needed to secure points. Coach Manel Cazorla emphasized after the game that his team deserved more based on their performance and offensive volume.

"We had three or four very clear chances. Football is about scoring more than your opponent, and we tried with more heart than head."
