The match played by CE L'Hospitalet against Mollerussa proved to be a dull affair, where the initial 0-0 score remained unchanged. The team led by Cristian Gómez had to settle for a single point, maintaining their negative dynamic.
During the first half, L'Hospi failed to find their usual comfort. Mollerussa even challenged the home team's possession, especially during the first half hour, and enjoyed two clear opportunities to take the lead which were not capitalized upon.
In the second half, CE L'Hospitalet attempted to react, showing more control over the pitch. However, the lack of precision in the final third condemned the team, which generated little real danger on the Mollerussa goal.
The worst was avoided in added time when the visitors missed a crucial one-on-one opportunity. Goalkeeper Aliaga was once again decisive, acting as a savior and ensuring that the home side could secure, at least, this point.
This draw is clearly insufficient for L'Hospi's objectives, as they chain four matches without a win, all played in this start of the year 2026. The next challenge for Cristian Gómez's team will be next Saturday at the Vilassar grounds.
