Carulla contacted his family today, Friday, January 30, after being sought since the early morning hours of Wednesday, when the tragic collapse of the property occurred.

According to neighborhood sources, Ramon Carulla himself acted quickly to pull the first two injured people out of the house immediately after the incident, before he disappeared.

Although the family now knows he is safe, sources from the search operation confirm that the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police) are keeping the operation active, as the man officially remains listed as a missing person.
