The Mossos d’Esquadra police located Ramon Carulla, the owner of the house that collapsed last Wednesday in Vilanova de Bellpuig, in Ponts this afternoon after four days missing.

The discovery of Ramon Carulla took place during a road checkpoint near the town of Ponts, in the Mig Segre area. After being stopped, the man is now heading home, according to sources close to the investigation.
The same sources indicated that Carulla will undergo a medical check-up by the Medical Emergency Service (SEM) to ensure his health status following his disappearance.
Ramon Carulla was last seen last Wednesday, the day of the collapse in Vilanova de Bellpuig. According to a neighbor's testimony, the man initially helped remove the first two injured people from the rubble before leaving in his car.
His family immediately reported him missing, and over a hundred people mobilized in a search operation in Vilanova de Bellpuig. Although he had contacted his family this morning, he was not physically located until Friday afternoon.
