The construction work for the sewer network in the Les Anglades neighborhood of Esponellà continues to progress according to the established plan. This initiative represents a significant improvement to a fundamental service for the residents of this sector of the municipality.
This project is part of the series of actions promoted by the Esponellà City Council to progressively enhance the infrastructure and services across the municipality's various communities.
“"The sewer network in Les Anglades is a necessary and long-awaited project. Although much of the work will be underground and not visible, it represents a very important improvement for the residents' quality of life."
Mayor David Juan highlighted the importance of this project, emphasizing that ensuring basic services reach all parts of the municipality is a priority for the governing team. He noted that planning, investment, and inter-administrative collaboration are key to executing such projects in a municipality with diverse population centers.
The execution of this work was made possible through funding from the Pla únic d’obres i serveis de Catalunya (PUOSC), managed by the Generalitat de Catalunya. This plan is a crucial instrument for supporting municipalities in their investments in public facilities, infrastructure, and local services.
“"The support from the Generalitat is essential for small municipalities like ours to undertake basic works of this scale. Without this institutional cooperation, it would be much more difficult to carry out necessary projects such as the sewer network in Les Anglades."
