Three minors injured in explosion during school chemistry experiment in Porqueres

Three students from the l'Entorn school in Porqueres were injured this Wednesday, March 11, when a bottle exploded during an outdoor chemistry experiment.

Emergency services, including two medical helicopters and five ambulances, responded to the scene. The two seriously injured minors were evacuated to Vall d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona, while a third student with minor injuries was taken to Trueta Hospital in Girona.
The Mossos d'Esquadra police force has launched an investigation into the causes of the chemical accident. Local authorities from Porqueres City Council confirmed that all other students and teachers are safe and requested the public to stay away from the area.
