The Garcia Town Council has suspended the Carnival parade and closed several public facilities this February 14 due to a severe wind episode affecting the municipality.

While the parade is cancelled, the gathering at 18.30 h will move directly to the Sala del Maig. The cemetery and the municipal sports court will remain closed until further notice.
Local authorities in the Ribera d'Ebre region advise citizens to avoid non-essential travel and stay away from natural areas and rural roads for safety reasons.
