The town of Garcia, in the Ribera d'Ebre region, celebrated its 2026 Carnival last Saturday, February 14th, by moving all activities to the Sala del Maig due to high winds.

The original street parade was cancelled to protect the participants' costumes and ensure safety. The Mariatxis group won the first prize in the main category, followed by the satirical performance Trump captures Maduro.
The event featured a community dinner and music by DJ Damo, proving the local community's resilience and festive spirit despite the weather challenges.
