The town of Garcia hosted the 10th edition of its Duathlon last Sunday, March 8, where 252 participants braved the rain to compete in various mountain disciplines in the Ribera d'Ebre region.

The event's headquarters had to be moved to the local sports court due to weather conditions. Despite the rain, athletes tackled demanding technical trails across the Garcia municipality. Musa Sowe claimed victory in the main 21km race, finishing in 02:10:19, while Alfons Coloma Soler won the 30km mountain bike category.
The celebration ended with a traditional community lunch featuring clotxa, a typical dish from the region. Supported by the Garcia Town Council and the Ribera d'Ebre County Council, the organizers are already planning the next edition to continue promoting the area's natural heritage.
