The Litterarum fair, now in its 19th professional edition and 23rd for the Ebre book fair, aims to bring Catalan and Occitan literatures closer to the public through theatre, music, recitation, circus, and dance. The event, organized by the Móra d’Ebre City Council with support from the Department of Culture and the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes, seeks to be a meeting point for authors, artists, programmers, and the public.
During the inauguration, Minister Sònia Hernández highlighted literature's capacity to hybridize with other artistic languages, enriching the cultural experience and professionally structuring the sector. She emphasized Litterarum's fidelity to the oral origins of literature and the strong presence of spoken word in the Terres de l’Ebre, thanking efforts in language preservation and institutional collaboration to strengthen a shared culture.
Concurrently, Móra d’Ebre hosted a Government Plan information booth to bring the Executive's actions closer to citizens. The minister visited this point, where the deployment of the Government Plan in the Ribera d’Ebre region was explained, including initiatives like the Culture and Education Program and the artistic project La Caixa del Lliure, as well as the Els ulls de la història project at the Miravet Castle.
