Eastaway, who has worked for years to preserve, teach, and promote the sardana in the city through the L'Avenç Sardana Section, will be the protagonist of the inaugural event.
For the second consecutive year, the opening speech will take place from the Town Hall balcony, a tradition revived last year. The event will include sign language interpretation.
Santa Magdalena square will once again bring together citizens, popular culture entities, and the council to jointly welcome Sant Mateu.
Following the speech, the 'Toc d’Inici' will symbolically mark the official start of the Festa Major. The broadcast will be available on the Town Hall's social media, ETV, and the municipal website.
