The municipality of Miravet is preparing to host the fourth edition of Ribera Orgullosa, a day that combines advocacy, culture, and institutional events to defend the rights of the LGBTI+ community in the region.

The event, which will take place in Plaça de l'Arenal, is established as a territorial benchmark. This year, the event gains importance by integrating the Government's institutional act in the Terres de l'Ebre, reinforcing the commitment to equality and diversity since the creation of the relevant department in 2021.
The program will begin in the afternoon with a space dedicated to entities and services, including the Xarxa SAI and the Ribera d'Ebre Regional Council. Local schools will also participate with a collective art mural, while families can enjoy workshops and games designed to promote equality and break gender stereotypes.

"We want Miravet to be a cry for freedom and respect, which is why I invite all the citizens of the Ribera d'Ebre to join this playful and vindicative day that reminds us of the importance of defending our rights every day."

The central act will include the reading of a manifesto and the presentation of the institutional campaign for 2026. In addition, the day will focus on historical memory with a round table dedicated to the past of the community in the Terres de l'Ebre, complemented by a specific exhibition.
The festivities will conclude with a popular dinner and a musical bingo. Those interested in attending the dinner can purchase tickets in advance at various collaborating establishments in the municipality until June 25th.
