The cycle aims to provide tools to support families in parenting, from childhood to adolescence. Notable sessions include Sleep in Early Childhood (October 6) led by Sandra Gutiérrez, addressing sleep evolution and routines for good rest. For families with adolescents, Supporting Adolescents in Their Studies (October 22) with Beth Rosell, will offer strategies to foster motivation and reflect on autonomy.
A series of three talks by anthropologist Judit Besora are also scheduled: Limits and Emotional Outbursts (November 12), Emotional Regulation (November 19), and Communicate Better (November 26). These independent yet complementary sessions will cover emotional management, daily conflicts, and improving family communication. Additionally, Àngels Ponce will present the talk Grief and Autism in Childhood and Adolescence (December 2), organized by the Office for Functional Diversity Support.
The program includes the Space for Trans Families, offering welcome and support meetings for families of trans individuals in Rubí, providing a space to share experiences and concerns. This initiative includes a free childcare service for children.
In terms of artistic experiences, the Pere Burés Municipal Music School will host Family Body Percussion (October 16) with Txus Eguílaz, alongside various Family Music sessions tailored for different age groups. The Mestre Martí Tauler Library will be the venue for literary activities such as Puppets with Sherezade (October 6 and November 3) and themed storytelling events like Stories and Chestnuts by the Fire (October 21). The Cinexic film cycle will also screen family films.
Rubí's Casino joins the program with performances like Friendly Magic (November 1) featuring magician Selvin, and Els Bufairons (November 22) by the Centre de Titelles de Lleida. The Marató de contes (December 13), a family tradition supporting La Marató de 3cat, will also take place at the Casino.
The Sundays at MMUC offer creative workshops, including a Basket Weaving Workshop (October 25) and a Christmas Bauble Workshop (November 15), recommended for children aged 5 and over, who must be accompanied by an adult.
