This pilot test allows citizens and visitors to consult details about events, schedules, locations, mobility, and services related to the festivals, 24 hours a day and in multiple languages. The Councillor for Festivals, Lorena Sastre, explained that the tool functions like another WhatsApp contact, facilitating access to the program and practical information.
The implementation of marIA is the result of collaboration initiated by the City Council with the Tech Tourism Cluster of Catalonia at FITUR. This initiative opens the door to exploring new applications of artificial intelligence in the municipality's tourism promotion.
The project is supported by ACCIÓ and involves specialized companies Inlea, Tridenia, Noema Consulting, and Omnia Marketing. The goal is to test the technology in a real environment, identify common queries, and implement continuous improvements.
Councillor Lorena Sastre encourages citizens to try the new tool, highlighting its potential to enhance visitor reception and information accessibility, as well as to facilitate knowledge of Móra d’Ebre's resources.
