The Multipurpose Hall of Camprodon hosted last Saturday, October 24th, a talk on canine education and animal welfare, organized by Amics dels Animals de la Vall de Camprodon and the Camprodon City Council.

The session, led by Sonia Losada, an expert in canine behavior, professor, and communicator linked to the Xilas Training project, covered various aspects of canine behavior to foster better coexistence between people and animals.
During the event, topics such as calm signals, reactive or unwanted behaviors, types of collars, and feeding were discussed, also debunking myths like the 'alpha male' concept.
The talk aimed to expand knowledge, reflect on the importance of understanding dogs, interpreting their communication signals, and promoting a relationship based on knowledge and mutual respect.
This initiative seeks to promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership, as well as to raise public awareness about the importance of good coexistence between people and animals.
