The municipality of Camprodon is preparing to host an intense weekend from October 10 to 12, offering a varied program that combines photography, tradition, culture, and sports. The presentation of VISIONS, the Camprodon International Photography Festival, stands out as one of the most unique events, accompanied by the Aplec del Remei, the Autumn Fair of local crafts, and a wide range of activities for all audiences.
On Saturday, October 10, at 7 PM, Cal Marquès will host the presentation of VISIONS, where the project, program, and artists of the first edition, titled 'Lines of Resistance,' will be unveiled. In parallel, Santa Maria Square will host the Autumn Fair of local crafts until Monday, October 12. At the monastery of Sant Pere, a free family activity will take place as part of the European Heritage Days, aimed at children aged 6 and over. The Casal Camprodoní will screen the premiere of the film La bola negra. In the sports arena, the Vila field will host the football match of the first team of UE Camprodon against Sarrià de Ter, as well as youth category matches and basketball competitions at the Llandrius pavilion.
On Sunday, October 11, tradition and faith will take center stage with the Aplec del Remei, which will combine liturgical acts with gastronomy and traditional music, featuring the participation of the Coral Camprodon choir. The day will include a popular rice dish ('arrossada popular') and sardanas with the Cobla Foment del Montgrí. The morning will also feature the weekly market in Doctor Robert Square, and basketball and football sports competitions will continue.
On Monday, October 12, the celebration of the Eucharist for the Aplec del Remei will resume, and the Autumn Fair will continue in Santa Maria Square. Camprodon also invites visitors to discover its cultural heritage, including the Isaac Albéniz Museum and the Museum of the Retreat at the Cal Marquès Cultural Space.
