The Government has presented in Sant Joan de les Abadesses the strategic actions for the Ripollès region, highlighting the strengthening of Campdevànol Hospital and new social housing projects.

During the presentation of the Government Plan, emphasis was placed on improving health and social services in the region. The main objective is to consolidate Campdevànol Hospital as a reference center and implement a social integration project for people with disabilities or in situations of dependency.
In terms of infrastructure, key projects were reviewed, such as the renovation of the regional slaughterhouse, with an investment exceeding 600,000 euros, and the completion of the bike path between Ripoll and Setcases. Progress in the integrated public transport fare system was also mentioned to facilitate local mobility.
Regarding housing, the Generalitat has confirmed the availability of land for the construction of 201 protected homes. This measure will be complemented by a rehabilitation program aimed at combating depopulation in rural municipalities in the area.
