Òmnium Cultural in Ripollès starts the new season with a packed agenda of cultural and linguistic activities, focusing on national challenges such as the amnesty law and the defense of the Catalan language in schools.

The Òmnium Cultural entity in the Ripollès region is preparing for an intensive season under the motto "Only those who walk make their way," inspired by the words of writer Josep Vallverdú. President Xavier Antich reaffirmed the organization's commitment to "chip away, build bridges, and weave networks" since 2022, overcoming repression and discouragement.
With an eye on the upcoming Diada, under the slogan "I am there. We are there. Independence," Òmnium Ripollès will launch the Vincles project and Catalan conversation groups to encourage the incorporation of new speakers. The third edition of the Sopar Estellés at the Casino de Campdevànol and the Òmnium Film Festival in Ribes de Freser and Camprodon are also being prepared. Additionally, they will collaborate with the poetry festival Pirineu, Terra de Versos.
The season will also include significant national challenges, such as vigilance for the full application of the amnesty law and the defense of Catalan-language education in the face of potential rulings from the Constitutional Court. These issues are considered "a great battle" for the country's future.
In electoral terms, President Antich has pointed to the start of a "diabolical electoral cycle" that includes municipal and Spanish elections. The importance of calculation and strategy is emphasized to "play the cards better" and advance national aspirations, seeking a "favorable global cycle for the defense of democracy and the right to self-determination" for stateless nations.
National construction in all areas – language, culture, society, and economy – is presented as Òmnium's contribution to moving towards the independence of Catalonia and the Catalan Countries, working "without leaving anyone behind."
