Following the retirement of its previous owner, the establishment was acquired by the Toses City Council. Now, through a concession, it has reopened to revitalize life in the town, as there is currently no other shop to purchase basic necessities.
The Councilor for Culture, Josep Estragués, explained that they considered it important to keep the establishment open and that, after acquiring it, its operation was put out to public tender.
The kiosk offers a variety of products, with a clear focus on local produce from Ripollès. Visitors can find cured meats, cakes, and pizzas, among other items, in the style of traditional village shops.
In these initial weeks of opening, the establishment has attracted numerous passers-by who stop for a drink or to rest. Its success is attributed to its strategic location and the life it brings to the municipality.
