The event, blessed with good weather, included activities for all ages. Young attendees participated in a truffle workshop where they painted bags for collecting truffles, while entertainment filled the fair's streets.
The main attraction was the truffle tasting, featuring five different dishes prepared by local establishments: Costabona restaurant offered truffles with gravy and mushrooms; Calitxó, a truffle millefeuille with pork belly; the foodtruck Al&Gi, a Patattruck; Can Parruc, a truffle montadito with hamburger and chistorra; and Punt 7, truffle omelette. A total of 902 tastings were served.
The Molló Livestock Cooperative, representing truffle producers from the Camprodon Valley, sold authentic local truffles in 5 or 25 kg bags.
Josep Maria, a resident of Molló, won the "Your weight in truffles" contest, taking home 93 kg of the product, and Fran was crowned champion of the local truffle peeling competition.
The fair is organized by the Molló Town Council, with collaboration from local restaurants and businesses, the Molló Livestock Cooperative, the Girona Provincial Council, and the Ripollès Regional Council.
