From next September 28th, children and youth in Ripoll will be able to enjoy new sessions of sports and games in the town's open squares and courtyards. These activities, organized by the City Council, aim to revitalize public spaces and facilitate access to extracurricular activities.
The sessions will take place at different locations and times throughout the city:
- Mondays: Open courtyard Escola Joan Maragall – 4:30 PM to 6 PM
- Tuesdays: Court Esteve Badia (Sant Pere) – 4:45 PM to 5:45 PM
- Wednesdays: Open courtyard Escola Joan Maragall – 4:30 PM to 6 PM
- Thursdays: Plaça de la Sardana – 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM
- Fridays: Open courtyard Escola Salesians – 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM
The activities will be led by sports and leisure professionals, and no prior registration will be required. The goal is twofold: to encourage children and youth participation in extracurricular activities and to bring life to these public spaces.
It is reminded that educators are responsible for facilitating the games and spaces, but the supervision of children falls to their families. For this reason, activities are held in areas where family members can be present. Respect for the spaces is requested, and pets are not allowed.
