After three weeks and nearly 3,000 kilometers covered, cyclists Josep, Jaume, and Ramon have returned to Cervera having completed the Via Cerverina. The adventure, shared with Toni, who provided support with the guide vehicle, has been a memorable experience.
The arrival at Carrer Major in Cervera was an emotional moment, with friends and family waiting to celebrate the end of the challenge. This cycling experience went beyond sport, allowing them to discover diverse realities, forge new bonds, and spread the name and the Millenary of Cervera throughout the territory.
The following day, Jaume and Ramon were received by the mayor, Jan Pomés, at the Paeria. During this meeting, they were able to review the odyssey, the difficulties, and the anecdotes of the journey, particularly highlighting the warm welcome they received in each of the Cerveras visited.
They presented photographic evidence of their journey, including photos and stamped passports from each stop. This meeting at the Paeria symbolically closed the circle that began three weeks earlier when they departed from the same location.
The cyclists' feat also had a special focus during the Via Cerverina Gala, held on Saturday. The account of their adventure evoked pride and emotion among attendees, solidifying the Via Cerverina as a story of vitality, commitment, and affection for Cervera.
