One of the victims, who was trapped on a balcony due to the smoke, had to be rescued using a ladder truck by the Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Fire Department). All three injured parties suffered smoke inhalation, and one also sustained burns.
At least one person was urgently evacuated to the Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital in Lleida for specialized medical treatment. The incident drew significant attention from residents in the capital of the Segarra region.
Five Fire Department units participated in the emergency operation, alongside ambulances from the Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) and patrols from the Local Police and the Mossos d’Esquadra. Carrer Major was closed to traffic during the extinguishing and rescue efforts.
