The infrastructure manager ADIF has kept rail traffic suspended between Cervera and Terrassa since last Monday due to urgent works at three critical network points, affecting routes from Manresa.

The suspension of the rail service directly affects routes connecting the capital of Bages, Manresa, both towards Terrassa and towards Lleida. Until further notice, the company has established an alternative road service using buses to cover these routes.
These disruptions are concentrated in three main areas. The first is the repair work on the slope and wall at the Castellbell i el Vilar station. The second critical point is located between the municipalities of Calaf and Prats de Rei, specifically in the Solanelles area, where work is underway on a railway dock project.
The third point of action preventing rail traffic between Cervera and Terrassa is found between Cervera and Sant Guim de Freixenet, where ADIF units are also working. These three construction sites make the complete journey passing through Manresa impossible.
ADIF has reported that it has deployed 50 teams and 150 technicians to inspect and repair a total of 29 critical points across the entire Rodalies system, six more than initially announced. The goal is to finalize inspections this week to restore normalcy to all lines.
