The theatre's new season, driven by the Artistic Commission, presents a diverse and high-quality program for all audiences. It features 8 theatre performances and 7 musical proposals, blending professional and amateur theatre, classical music, rock, and tribute acts. This lineup seeks to solidify the Teatre Municipal Ateneu as a key cultural hub in the region.
Concurrently, the theatre continues its commitment to cinema with 10 sessions of the Cicle Gaudí on Sundays at 6:00 PM to promote Catalan cinema, and 8 sessions of the Circuit Urgellenc. This year, family sessions will start earlier at 5:00 PM, while adult-oriented shows will be at 7:30 PM.
To retain subscribers, the theatre has communicated the new program and subscription benefits, which include 11 shows (6 theatre and 5 music) offering a 20% saving compared to individual ticket prices. The subscription costs 88 euros for the general rate and 70 euros for the discounted rate.
Subscriptions will be available from September 3rd to 15th via the theatre's website. Those wishing to keep their previous season's seats can request reservations starting August 27th by replying to the sent email or in person at the Guissona Town Hall between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
The official presentation of the IV Season of Performing Arts will take place on Wednesday, September 2nd, at 7:30 PM, in an event open to the public. It will include the program reveal, a performance by Roger Torné, and a small reception.
The season will kick off during the Guissona Festa Major with a free performance of 'La funció que surt malament' by the company Paranys on Sunday, September 6th, at 6:30 PM. Through this initiative, the theatre reaffirms its dedication to performing arts, music, and cinema, while working to expand its community of engaged spectators.
