The official merchandise store of brothers Marc and Àlex Márquez in Cervera has closed its doors after twelve years of activity. The premises, also the fan club's headquarters, are shutting down due to the club president's retirement and a focus on online sales.

The official merchandise store of brothers Marc and Àlex Márquez in Cervera has definitively closed its doors after twelve years of uninterrupted activity. The facade still bears remnants of the two number 93s that once adorned the space, serving as the only vestige of the establishment.
The retirement of the Fan Club president and uncle of the riders, Ramon Márquez, coupled with a stronger focus on online sales, has led to the closure of this physical location in the capital of Segarra. The shop, situated in the town center on Lluís Sanpere street, opened in December 2014 and quickly became a pilgrimage site for motorcycle racing fans.
Despite the closure of the physical store, fans of the Márquez brothers can continue to purchase merchandise through their websites, which have been active since 2017. The establishment also functioned as a small informal museum, displaying some of the original racing suits and helmets worn by the riders.
In other news, Marc Márquez has received medical clearance to participate in the Italian Grand Prix, although he will undergo another medical examination after the first practice session to determine his fitness for the race.
