In total, officers inspected 135 personal mobility vehicles (PMVs) and bicycles, of which 95 were taken to the municipal depot. The majority of infractions detected (80) relate to the lack of registration in the National Vehicle Registry, while 15 scooters were impounded for not having the mandatory civil liability insurance policy.

These checks are part of a surveillance campaign promoted by the Catalan Traffic Service (Servei Català de Trànsit), aiming to ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of personal mobility vehicles and bicycles on public roads.

Since the end of January, regulations require electric scooter users to have civil liability insurance and a specific circulation certificate, in addition to an identification sticker similar to a license plate.

In addition to seizures for lack of insurance and registration, the Local Police also processed other citations. These include two for not having a license plate, one for riding with headphones, three for carrying more passengers than authorized, six for disregarding prohibition signs, one for a negligent change of direction, and six for parking the PMV in a space designated for bicycle lanes.
