The project, carried out in three phases, concluded on Monday, August 31st, with the final tasks completed in the last four classrooms of the Doctor Serés school. In total, 22 classrooms at the educational center and 6 at the nursery have been upgraded.
With this improvement, all classrooms will feature a telecontrolled cooling system to ensure comfort during hot weather. The Doctor Serés School and the nursery thus become among the first primary centers in the region with 100% of their classrooms air-conditioned, ready for the start of the 2026-27 academic year on Monday, September 7th.
“"We are pleased to have carried out this action that contributes to the well-being and comfort of our students, as well as the teachers. It is a priority for the municipal government team, especially considering the recent heatwaves."
