Castell del Remei to host the first Biodiversity Festival

The Castell del Remei Foundation will launch the first Biodiversity Festival in Lleida on Sunday, March 22nd, aiming to connect families with the local natural environment.

Starting at 9:30 AM, the event features the Rural Agents corps, showcasing their operational equipment such as helicopters and boats. Educational workshops will focus on identifying animal tracks and protecting endangered plants.
The morning includes puppet shows like Transhumància by Xip Xap and a performance of Bunji, la petita koala by Festuc Teatre. Highlights also include a canine unit demonstration and a symbolic release of birds of prey.
